Job Opening Announcement

The City of Carrizo Springs is presently accepting applications for the position of Lifeguard.

Job Summary

Duties involve all swimming pool operations, including first aid, rotations, handling pool entrance fees, public relations, janitorial duties, limited pool maintenance including daily chemical analysis/testing, pool cleaning, cleaning of bathrooms, and all other duties as necessary or required. Enforces the City of Carrizo Springs Pool rules and regulations to the public.

Performs other related duties as may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Applicant must be 16 years of age or older and be self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision. Applicant must be able to work odd hours, including holidays, weekends and private parties. Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification is preferred at the time of applying.
