Finance Director

The City of Carrizo Springs is presently accepting applications for the position of Finance Director.

The Finance Director is under administrative direction, oversees, manages, supervises and administers all aspects of the operation of the City of Carrizo Spring's financial operations, including budget development and monitoring, day-to-day operations, long and short-term investments, billing/accounts receivable, accounts payable, and all other general ledger responsibilities.

Supervises, manages and performs a variety of financial management duties; maintains and recommends modifications to existing accounting systems; compiles, reviews, forwards and presents a variety of regularly schedule and ad hoc financial reports and records; identifies, monitors, reviews and makes recommendations regarding the city's long and short-term investment objectives, strategies and placements; researchers and analyzes financial trends and markets; responds to inquiries from the City Manager, Mayor, City Council, general public and others regarding the city's financial status, goals and objectives; reviews and recommends collection enhancement strategies and programs.

The Finance Director salary is up to $55,000 depending on qualifications.
