Job Opening Announcement

The City of Carrizo Springs is presently accepting applications for the position of Human Resource Specialist.

Job Summary

The employee works under the direction of the city manager to assist with the administration of a medium sized, active city.  Planning and budget skills are required for project work and for development of the annual budget. Reports must be prepared in a variety of areas and forwarded to the city manager as well as to state and federal agencies. Personnel administration includes the training and evaluation of city employees and supervisors.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree Public Administration, Business Administration and/ or equivalent preferred or 2 to 4 years related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public and other employees in person, in writing and by telephone.
