Position: Equipment Operator

Full Time Position

Job Description:
TASKS

Operates a variety of related equipment, hand tools, equipment and other items; cleans streets, digs water, sewer and other lines; works on and off the equipment of assignment; assists other city departments in a variety of roles and responsibilities associated with construction, maintenance, repair, sanitation and related areas; as assigned and qualified, builds forms, works with manholes, lays brick, spreads asphalt and performs other construction-related activities ; responds to inquiries and provides assistance to general public.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma or GED and three years of relevant, responsible work operating construction equipment/vehicles, truck driving or closely related responsibilities. Must have, at time of application, and must maintain a driver license.
