Water Emergency Update
August 12, 2022
As of August 12, 2022, at 4:30 p.m., the City of Carrizo Springs would like to inform the community of the following information.
- The 20 inch water transition line has been cut and repaired, this water line is the main source of water into the city.
- Water boosters are running, and the city water utilities are pumping water into the system, this means that the water level will start increasing slowly, as the levels go up the water service will be restored. The water level is expected to be at normal, by Saturday afternoon.
- All Boil Water Notices are still in effect until further notice and samples by lab our cleared.
- The city will be distributing drinking water, to the residents starting at 5:00 pm. One case per vehicle until out of stock.

- Non-drinking water will still be distributed at the same location until 9:00 p.m.
