The City of Carrizo Spring is closely monitoring the national outbreak of the novel coronavirus, now known as COVID-19. In an effort slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community, City Hall will be closed to the public starting Tuesday, March 17th. The following services changes will be effective Tuesday, March 17th through Friday April 3rd and reopening on April 6th: • No gatherings of more than 10 people will be permitted at City Facilities (until further notice), with the exception of the Town Hall to be held at the Civic Center on Tuesday March 17th at 6:30pm. This will be in partnership with the hospital to provide an informational session for residents and their concerns surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic • During this time, utility payments will be available via the drive thru and online only • The City of Carrizo Springs will suspend all water and gas disconnections during this time while our community works as one team during this national crisis; however, residents are still responsible for the payment of their utilities (Our residents need to have water for cleaning purposes and due to schools being closed) • City Hall will close at 2:00 pm on Friday March 20th for cleaning to assure the safety of team members, their families, and the community • Municipal Court will be canceled for the March 25th docket for safety purposes, and reconvening in April 2020
